It is Anti-Bullying Week from 16th–20th November 2020. The theme for this year is: ‘United Against Bullying’ and it starts off with Odd Socks Day on the Monday to kick-start the week. Odd Socks Day is a way to celebrate what makes us all different and unique!
Anti-Bullying Week has been organised by the Anti-Bullying Alliance (ABA) for many years. The Anti-Bullying Alliance is a group of organisations and individuals who all share one aim — to rid the world of bullying. Anti-Bullying Week 2020 is an opportunity for organisations the world over to work together to stamp out bullying.
Bullying is an anti-social form of behaviour which has a negative impact on the targets of bullying as well as bystanders (people who witness the bullying). We want to encourage governments worldwide to do more to eradicate bullying across all areas of life — from school to home to the workplace. Anti-Bullying Week is the time to focus our efforts and all work together to make bullying a thing of the past. Let’s all get united against bullying!
